Started the morning off walking to the ruins on our hotel property. Pretty neat that this type of thing is in the ‘backyard’. Then off on a bit of a drive, we made a lot a steps yesterday so good chance to rest our legs about. Drive through the town with the longest name: Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch
Couldn’t find the town sign name for a photo op but oh well. As you can see even the sat nav has to shorten it to fit on the screen:
From there we went on to Conwy castle which isn’t as large as Caernarfon but in better condition. Unfortunately, it was pouring rain so our visit didn’t last as long as warranted but still had fun. Took this picture off their website, ours would have just been photos of rain.
