Our first night in a hotel is near the town of Wrexham. I picked this spot since it’s close to a few places that had potential for starting points of our northern Wales tour.
The hotel is a renovated manor house built in the 1700s. The room has been recently redone with a king bed and set of bunks. The pub downstairs had excellent reviews.
We’ve just had a great dinner and are now in our rooms and realize that maybe a room directly upstairs from a very popular pub on a Saturday night is not such a good idea.....fortunately we brought earplugs.
We also just looked at the forecast of 100% chance of rain tomorrow and may have to adjust our plans.....might not be the best hiking weather.
